Even as a child, I was interested in houses. Every time I visited a new place, I would bring marbles to see if the floor was slanted and I would always look at how the light entered the house. When I completed my University of Applied Sciences degree, with a dissertation on building styles in Amsterdam, all I wanted was one thing: to check out the interiors of as many houses in Amsterdam as possible.

I took my first steps in real estate working for an agent who started his business from home. A wonderful place to learn. In recent years, I have had my own office and I also enjoyed worked as an independent estate agent at an existing agency. But entrepreneurship is in my DNA, and when I met Letty and Marco, we all knew what was in store for us. We founded Dames van Vermeer Estate Agents in June of 2016. I’m very proud!
